INTERNATIONAL CONTEST "OLTENIA - 144 MHz"

The XI-th Edition 2005

Contest period: First full weekend of September (03-04 September-2005)

Start at 14.00 UTC on Saturday,

End at 14.00 UTC on Sunday.

So,  the  "OLTENIA - 144" - CONTEST   will be held parallel  with  IARU-VHF- Contest.

Bands : 144 MHz IARU Region 1 contest band plan.

Modes: A1A, A3E, R3A, J3E, and F3E (G3E) according to IARU Region VHF band plan.

Categories:

a) fixed stations - single operator
b) fixed stations - multi operators
c) portable stations - single operator
d) portable stations - multi operators

Exanges: RS(T) plus a progressive serial number starting with 001 plus WW QTH locator.

Each station can be worked only once. Contacts made via active repeters do not count for points.

Points: 1 km = 1 point

Scoreing: Sum of total points

- We still accept paper logs but electronic logs in standard EDI format. Should be the best choice.

Each log has to be accompanied by a summary sheet showing usual data: call sign, country, name, address, section, number of QSOs, points, band multiplier, score, stations description.

Remarks:   For all foreign (outsiders of Romania) participants shoul be strong necessary at least 1 (one) QSO with any Romanian station, these means any YO; YP; YQ or YR call.

Award: The  first ten places of each categories will obtain a DIPLOMA.

During the contest is possible to obtain free "PELENDAVA-CRAIOVA" award: QSO with 2 stations members of CSM Craiova.

 "OLTENIA 144" - se va desfasura in paralel cu IARU-VHF- Contest.

 Banda si modurile de lucru: Banda de 2 m in urmatoarele moduri:

A1A, A3E, R3A, J3E si F3E (G3E) conform IARU - regiunea 1.

CW: 144,050 -144,150 MHz
SSB: 144,150 -144,400 MHz
FM: 145,200 -145,600 MHz

Categorii:

a) statii fixe - individual
b) statii fixe - echipe
c) statii portabile - individual
d) statii portabile - echipe

Controale: RS(T) + 001(serial crescator) + WW QTH locator.

Punctaj: 1 km = 1 punct.

Scor: Suma punctelor din legături.

 Clasamente / premii: Clasamente separate pentru fiecare categorie.

Primii zece clasati la fiecare categorie primesc diplome.

Se acordă « Cupa OLTENIA » statiei care obtine punctajul maxim din concurs.

Diploma "PELENDAVA - CRAIOVA" se poate obtine gratuit dacă în timpul concursului se efectuează 2 QSO-uri cu statii membre ale Clubului Sportiv Craiova.
